Sales Coordinator

Job Title: Sales Coordinator

Reports to: SVP Sales

Location: Dubai, Head office

Position Overview:

We seek a dedicated Sales Coordinator to provide excellent support to our sales team. Your daily job duties include database management, scheduling appointments, responding to member brands and client calls and emails, and assisting with developing sales presentations. You will also support the daily management of GHA’s internal lead-sharing platform G-Leads.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative support includes phone coverage, internal brand/hotel and client communication, travel coordination, expense report processing and tracking, meeting preparation and follow-up, and other administrative tasks.

  • Effectively manage the GHA TMC Agency appointment calendar.

  • Assist with coordinating pre/post sales trip activities, Road Show & Trade Show organization, special projects, and industry events.

  • Develops effective presentations (orally and written) where value propositions, ideas, opinions, recommendations, initiatives and conclusions are understood.

  • Understands GHA performance, customer issues and trends.

  • Manage the G-Leads inbox for all incoming daily tasks and requests with the member
    brands.

  • Work with the G-Leads brands on updating content, training manuals and profiles
    within the G-Leads system.

  • Ensure the G-Leads platform is kept up to date by managing the incoming leads to
    ensure clients are responded to daily.

  • Manage the generic sales inbox for any ad hoc industry requests for industry rates.

Qualifications, Skills and Education:

To fulfil this role successfully, the candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications and
experience:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 1+ years of experience as a Sales Administrator or other administrative role

  • Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office

  • Strong knowledge of sales performance metrics and KPIs

  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking skills

  • Able to prioritize work and succeed under deadlines

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and reprioritize when necessary

  • Ability to communicate issues and concerns at all levels of the organization

  • Ability to direct and lead activities through internal and external resources

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment

  • Hospitality /Travel industry experience will be a plus

The ideal candidate will share our company values, will be self-motivated, and someone who takes their development seriously. Previous experience in the hospitality or travel industry is a bonus. Experience in customer loyalty programmes would also be helpful.
