Position Overview:

The Digital Analytics and Insights Manager reports to the CMO and supports the CRM, Ecommerce and Strategy teams in measuring, monitoring, and presenting the results of GHA DISCOVERY marketing activities, as well as making strategic recommendations that drive decision-making for marketing campaigns, website design, user experience, and partner initiatives.

This individual will work closely with the Data Analytics team, providing the overall infrastructure and resources for reporting. At the same time, this role will serve as the owner of the marketing reporting and dashboards regarding requirements, usability, efficacy and accuracy (helping to test new and validate ongoing). The opportunity lies in reviewing and becoming the expert in the ongoing reporting, analysing the results on multiple levels, including the campaign, optimisation, and customer journey, delivering deep dives into attributes (such as tier, country, language, enrolling brand, etc.), and proactively highlighting critical findings to stakeholders in structured debriefs as well as insights presentations. He or she will be passionate about transforming data into meaningful insights and opportunities and crafting the story to drive continual improvements across our channels and activities.


  • Serve as analytics point of contact for marketing leaders and relevant stakeholders.

  • Analyse performance across all marketing channels and products, independently and collectively, to highlight effectiveness and opportunities; key channels include email, website, app, push, Facebook and Instagram; products include our loyalty programme (our core product), Hotels, Local Offers, and Experiences.

  • Build, produce and manage automated dashboards and compelling data visualizations to provide meaningful insights into marketing performance.

  • Develop custom metrics dashboards to support stakeholder requests and requirements.

  • Consult with internal teams, subject-matter experts, and stakeholders on channel effectiveness and provide optimization recommendations where appropriate.

  • Utilize company, user and marketing response history to develop modelling and/or segmentation for new marketing campaigns.

  • Recommend and support the implementation of standards, guidelines and best practices to increase marketing efficiency.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve or enhance reporting processes and formats, including data aggregation and synthesis opportunities.

Qualifications, Skills and Education:

To fulfil this role successfully, the candidate must possess the following minimum qualifications and


  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree in an analysis-focused or related field preferred

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Digital Analytics; Strong business acumen and ability to understand business problems and provide recommendation

  • 4+ years of experience managing analytics accounts and producing reports through the Google suite or comparable platform: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Campaign Manager, Google Data Studio

  • Google Suite experience and certification are a plus

  • Strong working knowledge of report development, data visualization, and insight generation based on media and web performance

  • Strong understanding of marketing, marketing attribution and measurement approaches

  • Very strong knowledge of web analytics implementation best practices and hands-on practical experience managing complex implementations

  • Ability to construct a cohesive, visual story through data

  • Ability to understand larger business needs and the application of digital analytics to address them

  • Highly flexible and embrace constant change

  • Highly innovative with positive energy

  • Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.

  • Strong understanding of building reports in Power BI
